Meet Nadine, an Elevations Business Banking Relationship Manager

The business banking team at Elevations serves businesses across Colorado’s Front Range. Our team provides a consultative approach to help you realize long-term success for your business. Get to know Nadine, who was the very first Business Banking Relationship Manager at Elevations.

How long have you been with Elevations, and which locations do you serve?

I was the first Business Banker hired with Elevations before we launched business banking services in 2017. I serve our members in northern Colorado, specifically the Fort Collins and Loveland communities.

What is your banking experience?

I have been in banking for over 27 years. Most of my career has been in banking management, working with branch teams and helping small businesses. I grew up in a small business family. I was born and raised in Greeley, and my dad has been a small business owner there for several years. I love helping people, especially business owners, and business banking has been my ultimate passion.

How would you define your role and what you do for business banking members?

I work with businesses to help provide them with working capital lines of credit, loans for commercial real estate, equipment and vehicles. I also work with businesses who have more complicated business accounts and treasury services needs. Most of all, I am a trusted advisor regarding their finances.

What do you like about business banking?

I get to work with people in lots of different industries. I find it fascinating how many small businesses are out there, and they get to live their passion and hopefully make a living at it. That’s where I come in — to help find them solutions that work for their business and their lives.

What sets Elevations and you apart from other banks and bankers?

In my experience, Elevations is different in that we genuinely care about the member experience. Our not-for-profit, member-owned standing allows us to give so much more to our communities monetarily and by volunteering.

Do you have any advice to businesses selecting a financial institution?

Most financial institutions have similar products and services. Business owners should focus on developing a relationship with a business banker and financial institution that coincides with their business values. Your financial institution is one of the most important entities that you will partner with during the life cycle of your business.

What is your favorite local nonprofit?

I am the Treasurer for the Midtown Fort Collins Business Association — we help businesses through education, collaboration and advocacy. I also partner with several wonderful nonprofits in northern Colorado that focus on mental health such as Healing Warriors, Vets 4 Life and Alliance for Suicide Prevention.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I love Colorado. I like to do anything that I can to enjoy this beautiful state, such as hiking and camping in the summer. In the winter, I hike and ski. I enjoy hanging out at the local breweries and restaurants. At the top of my bucket list is traveling more and camping in our beautiful national parks throughout the U.S.

What’s your favorite local restaurant?

That’s a tough one; northern Colorado has so many amazing locally-owned restaurants. I especially like the ones that do good for the community and have great food like Snack Attack in Fort Collins and The Hearth in Windsor.

What do you sing at karaoke night?

Haha … I’m not much of a singer, but it would probably be 80’s music or 70’s classic rock, and I can definitely do a good rendition of “The Devil Went Down to Georgia.”
