Looking Back at 2021 – Elevations in Our Community

As we look back on 2021 and make plans for the year ahead, we are thankful to our members and community for helping us complete so much in 2021. As members of Elevations Credit Union, you’re part of something bigger.

This year, your banking choice helped support:

The financial well-being of our community members

In 2021, Elevations offered dozens of free online financial education seminars for thousands of attendees on topics like planning for retirement, buying a house, saving for college and more.

Youth financial literacy

Elevations provides more financial education programs for K-12 students than any other credit union in Colorado.

Elevations is ranked as a top 5 volunteer partner of Junior Achievement-Rocky Mountain, Inc., dedicated to preparing young people to succeed in a global economy.

The homeownership goals of your neighbors

Elevations is Colorado’s No. 1 credit union mortgage lender, helping Coloradans buy homes and refinance to save across the state.

Elevations has joined forces with other top credit unions in Northern Colorado on the House that Credit Unions Built project. The home is being built as a part of Harmony Cottages, the largest development in Habitat for Humanity Fort Collins history.

Local businesses

Elevations provides financial solutions for 8,000+ local businesses.

In 2021, Elevations hosted educational seminars focused on helping nonprofits in our community grow and succeed.

The Elevations Business Banking Team provided resources and education on options like Paycheck Protection Program loans to support small businesses during the pandemic.

Volunteering in our community

Elevations employees get 16 hours of volunteer time off every year. From 2014 – 2021, Elevations employees volunteered over 14,000 hours with organizations across the Front Range.

Growing in Fort Collins

We are honored to serve more members in Northern Colorado by opening a new branch in Old Town Fort Collins and a new drive-thru location on Harmony Road.

We were proud to host our real estate community, nonprofit friends, and members at our new Fort Collins branches to celebrate our deepening commitment to Fort Collins.

Elevations has been recognized twice with the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award (2014 and 2020), the only U.S. presidential recognition for performance excellence.

Elevations Credit Union is honored to support Elevations Foundation, an independent 501(c)3

This year, Elevations Credit Union Members helped Elevations Foundation provide:

Disaster relief

Elevations Foundation and Elevations Credit Union provided more than $709,000 to families of victims following the March 22 tragedy in Boulder; of that amount, more than $500,000 was donated by Elevations Credit Union members and our community.

Scholarships for higher education

Elevations Foundation presented $50,000 in scholarships to 28 promising high school graduates in Colorado.

Community grants

Elevations Foundation provided $55,000 in community grants to 14 nonprofit organizations working in early childhood development, environmental education and sustainability, and mental health on the Front Range.
