We believe in giving back to the people and places we serve, and we are thankful our members do too. We want to thank you, our members and community, for supporting Elevations Foundation and the Elevations Community Relief Fund as we respond to the COVID-19 crisis.
In March and early April, our community stepped up and raised $75,000, which was matched by Elevations Credit Union for a total of $150,000 donated. These funds have been granted to seven community partners to support first responders and their families, and those directly impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. These are our partners:
UC Health Northern Colorado Foundation
The Health Care Worker Emergency Relief Fund provides financial assistance to staff facing financial hardships, needing childcare or needing mental health support.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful news. Your leadership and generosity in addressing these current challenges will make a vital difference for our community and for our health care colleagues.
Erica Siemers, Regional Executive Director, UC Health Foundation Northern Colorado
Boulder Community Health Foundation
Funds support staff facing unanticipated financial challenges and remove barriers to providing the best treatment for COVID-19.
We are very grateful for all you are doing to help get out the word for so many organizations that are in need of community support at this time — it’s actionable and meaningful, and people will want to help — thank you.
Grant Besser, Executive Director, Boulder Community Health Foundation
Broomfield Community Foundation
The COVID-19 Response and Recovery Fund supports local organizations providing basic needs to Broomfield’s most vulnerable populations.
This will make a tremendous impact on our “frontline” nonprofit providers here in Broomfield for the May 1 grant cycle. We are incredibly grateful for this valuable partnership with Elevations, and we are proud to be able to provide our community with this much-needed support.
Marianna Williamson, Executive Director, Broomfield Community Foundation
Community Foundation of Northern Colorado
The Northern Colorado COVID-19 Response Fund will provide funding to local nonprofit organizations that work with people disproportionately affected by the consequences of COVID-19.
Thank you, the Elevations Foundation Board, and all of your members for your support of the Northern Colorado COVID-19 Response Fund.
Ella Fahrlander, Chief Engagement Officer, Community Foundation of Northern Colorado
Community Foundation of Boulder County
The COVID-19 Response Fund Boulder County will ensure essential services for community members who find themselves at the intersection of being most vulnerable to the virus and most impacted by inequity.
This is extraordinarily generous, and we are humbled by your incredible partnership and support!
Lynda Ricketson, Vice President of Philanthropic Services, Community Foundation Boulder County
We are so grateful to you, all the Elevations staff and members, for joining us in this effort to support the community.
Lisa Moreno, Senior Program Officer, Community Foundation Boulder County
Longmont Community Foundation
The Neighbor to Neighbor COVID-19 Relief Fund will provide financial resources to charitable organizations in Longmont and the St. Vrain Valley area that are involved in supporting vulnerable populations that have been affected by the outbreak.
This is an amazing demonstration of support by Elevations! We launched the Neighbor to Neighbor COVID-19 Relief Fund to help fund nonprofits who are involved in supporting those affected by the outbreak. Our general direction is to support those charities that support families and individuals — like we did with the flood recovery fund.
Eric Hozempa, Executive Director, Longmont Community Foundation
Westminster Legacy Foundation
This Coronavirus Relief Fund will purchase food for high-risk families to be delivered safely by volunteers and offer support to local food banks and pantries.
This gift will do so much good for so many — “thank you” doesn’t do justice to the gratitude that I feel.
Lauren Werner, Executive Director, Westminster Legacy Foundation
